The Sniper Starring Liu Ye Aired on Four Satellite TV Channels

The Sniper, a big cast TV drama of suspense, gunfight and war genre, began to air in primetime on June 29 simultaneously on four satellite TV channels in Zhejiang, Hebei, Chongqing and Jilin.

This TV drama is co-produced by China International Television Corporation/China Radio, Film & Television Programs Exchange Center and Dongyang Tangde Television Production Company. Adapted from the novel Assassination, it is directed by Teng Wenji, a prominent director. The storyline is as follows: After Dai Li, the head of the Military Investigation and Statistics Bureau, was killed in a plane crash, a copy of telegraphy unveiling great secret appeared. A bodyguard and sniper was then involved in a conspiracy. After experiencing many hardships and sufferings, he resolved a disaster. It is a heroic legend.

The movie star Liu Ye played the leading role in this TV drama. The Director Teng Wenji, who once cooperated with Liu Ye five years ago, said that Liu Ye has changed much and become much mature after five years.

This TV drama had been aired on the terrestrial channels and was well-received, attracting much attention from various media. We believe it will also be well-received by the viewers of four satellite TV channels and the performance of Liu Ye in this TV drama will be no less attractive than that of the football players in the World Cup.
