The Corporation Participated in MIPCOM and Reached a Number of Cooperation Intentions

From October 13 to 18, a delegation from China International Television Corporation participated in the MIP Junior 2018 and MIPCOM 2018, and held talks with more than 100 TV media organizations from more than 50 countries and regions, including France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United States, Iran, Greece, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, India, Thailand, Jordan, the Republic of Korea and Japan.

During the TV Festival, the Corporation participated in the China New Works Promotion Conference, focusing on the promotion of Every Treasure Tells a Story 2 and other excellent programs. It also made a keynote speech on “Share Chinese Stories with the World” at the International Co-production Film and Television Summit Forum. It also held the special promotion conference, presentation and industry sharing conference of “Create New Legend with National Treasure”, as well as MIP Junior and other activities, which attracted wide attention.

It is reported that the corporation prepared a wealth of program resources for the TV festival, about 5,000 hours of various TV programs including TV series, documentaries, variety shows and cartoons. Among them, nearly 3,000 hours of program has been translated into nearly 30 languages such as English, French, Spanish, Arabic and Russian.

The highlighted repertoires include documentaries such as China's Mega Projects 3, Every Treasure Tells a Story, The Great Wall (international version) and The River From Heaven (natural version, TV series such as All Out of Love, Here to Heart, The Advisors Alliance, Growling Tiger, Roaring Dragon, as well cartoons such as The Legend of Silk Road, Pocket Forest and Baotietie, all of which were widely concerned by the participants. In addition, a number of cooperation intentions have been reached with clients from countries and regions such as France, Germany, Spain, Italy and the Middle East.
