The Corporation Organized China Joint Booth to Participate in the Cannes MIPTV Festival in Spring

        From April 3 to 6, China Radio, Film & Television Programs Exchange Center/Program Department of China International Television Corporation organized China Joint Booth to participate in the 54th Cannes MIPTV Festival held in spring, and discussed with over 100 TV media and institutions from more than 50 countries and regions such as France, Italy, Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, Austria, New Zealand, the United States, Russia and India, overfilling the scheduled marketing task.
To participate in the TV Festival, the Corporation prepared 5,000 hours of TV drama series, documentaries, varieties, cantons and other TV programs, among which 3,000-hour programs were translated into nearly 30 languages including English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Italian and Urdu. It made key recommendations of documentaries such as Aerial China, China's Mega Projects II, Forces of Nature and Rediscovering the Arctic, TV drama series such as Union of Military Counselors, Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy and Princess Agents, as well as the latest cartons such as Cotton Candy and Cloud Mom and My Little Monking, attracting extensive attention from international media. It also signed agreements on the spot regarding such programs as documentaries of Aerial China, China's Mega Projects II, Forces of Nature and The Belt and Road as well as the TV drama series Union of Military Counselors with Italian RAI National TV, French ZED, Spanish TV3, German ZDF, North American Channel 18, Korean SINOWAVE and other broadcast institutions.
During the exhibition, the Corporation discussed international cooperation projects with a number of international media and institutions from the United Kingdom, the United States, Italy, Germany, New Zealand, France and Austria, involving TV drama series, documentary, realistic TV program, live performance and other types of programs. These international media also showed a strong interest and participation willingness for collection and evaluation activities concerning the International Adaptation and Packaging Project for the “Belt and Road Media Community” and “Golden Ribbon” Film and Television Programs.
MIPTV gathers various types of programs in the world and set up a platform for mutual communication of television practitioners. In 2017, there are more than 11,000 exhibitors and over 5,000 buyers from more than 100 countries gathering in MIPTV, making it one of the largest TV program trade fair.
