Chinese Film and Television Enterprises Attending Budapest International TV Fest

 From June 21 to June 23, 2011, China Radio, Film & Television Exchange Center/ CITVC attended the 19th DISCOP TV Festival held in Budapest, Hungary. Negotiation with nearly 50 clients from over 16 countries including Hungary, Turkey, Russia, Czech Rep., Serbia, U.K. and U.S.A. had taken place during the event. Drama series with historical theme and costume swordplay elements like The Glamorous Imperial Concubine, Twin Brothers, Sword Heroes’ Fate were especially favorable among clients, documentaries such as When the Louvre Meets the Forbidden City and The Fairyland of China, 3D cartoons like The Magic Reel of Reindeer King had received extraordinary critic from the clients. Through the course of the event, there were also the concentrated efforts on promoting the hugest documentary production in years---Flag. Optimistically speaking, this documentary will soon be broadcasted on Hungary Duna TV and Hungarian national tv--- MTV. In a channel that is soon to be launched under Czech RF Hobby Publishers Group also intends to adapt and broadcast it at an appropriate time.
 Department of International Cooperation of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television(SARFT) also took part in the event. Entrusted by SARFT, CITVC was also put in charge of organizing Chinese enterprises, thus, for the first time, making all Chinese enterprises appear with unified image in attending DISCOP.
