The 10th Programs Exhibition has been crowned with a good start in marketing

     Just like a timely snow that promises a good harvest, on the first day of the 10th China International Film & Television Programs Exhibition which opened in cold weather, a good harvest has also been reaped in marketing. China International TV Corporation/China Radio, Film & Television Programs Exchanging Center has widely collected the market information at the exhibition, implementing carefully the promotion and distribution of programs, and advancing the communication and cooperation with media organizations as well as overseas film & television companies. We have made a good start in the marketing of programs.

        In domestic marketing, nearly 5,000,000 first-run , N-run plays and introduced plays have been introduced and nearly 100 films as well as resources of columns, features and animations of nearly 100,000 minutes have been presented, too, which has won warm applauses from customers. We have negotiated with partners to make sure the cooperation projects and followed up on some important plays like Empress Wu, Marriage Waiting at the Next Station, The Son-in-Law and Getting outside Shanhaiguan. We have made appointments with TVB, MediaCrop and other overseas film distributors from Taiwan and South Korea to learn about the information of the latest programs and their copyrights.

        In international marketing, under the circumstances that many overseas customers were on vacation during the Christmas and New Year holidays, we have positively make appointments with more than 40 customers from North America, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan. We have publicized various key TV series and documentaries; modern plays like Go! Sister Go! Searching for a Suitable Husband[w1]  and documentaries as China’s Mega Project, china have gained popularity. Just on the opening day, various companies from South Korea, Japan and Taiwan have showed their intents of signing contract concerning TV series as King’s War and The Orphan of Chao. And we have explored new modes of cooperation with Taiwan media with regard to plays like Female Prime Minister and so on and have exchanged ideas with customers from Japan, South Korea and Latin America about cooperation on translation and dubbing.
