8th China International Film & TV Programs Exhibition Opened Grandly

At 9 am, August 26, the three-day 8th China International Film & TV Programs Exhibition opened in Beijing Exhibition Center. Tian Jin, Li Wei (Deputy General Directors of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television), Jiao Li (President of CCTV), Hu En, Gao Feng, Li Jian, Xue Jijun (leaders from CCTV), and other people in charge of relevant departments of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television attended the Exhibition. They surveyed the exhibition stand of CCTV, the exhibition stand of key exports of national film and television programs and stands of other domestic and international film and television institutions and new media companies. They spoke highly of various and excellent exhibited programs and the achievement made in the Chinese film and television industry in recent years.  They were accompanied by Ma Runsheng, the General Manager of China Radio, Film and Television Programs Exchanging Center, who introduced the schedules, major domestic and international exhibitors and key exhibited programs, etc.

As a key part of the 8th China Radio, Film & Television International Expo, the 8th China International Film & TV Programs Exhibition covered an area of 22,000 square meters and attracted over 1,300 domestic and international exhibitors, having been the largest event in the sector in Asia for many consecutive years. Aiming to demonstrate the outstanding achievement of “Going Global” project, the Exhibition particularly presented the stand of “key exports of national film and television programs”. The stand exhibited the 37 key companies and 74 key film and television projects which are listed in the “2009-2010 Annual Cultural Export of Key Enterprises and Key Projects.” Other important events to be held include “the Strategic Cooperation Signing Ceremony between the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television and the Export-Import Bank of China and Elaboration Conference on Financial Support in Export of Film and Television Programs,” and ““2010 Forum on New Media Copyright Protection and Cooperation.”
